The core of CRSW type biological deodorization purification tower is an efficient biofilter tower, a composite filler that is conducive to biological adhesion and growth and a microbial dominant strain. Under appropriate environmental conditions, the microorganisms in the filter tower form a biofilm on the surface of the filler, using the inorganic and organic effects of the waste gas as a carbon source and energy, maintaining its life activities by degrading the odor substances, and decomgenerating the odor substances into odorless substances such as water, carbon dioxide and minerals to achieve the purpose of purifying the odor gases.

The working principle of microbial deodorization technology is the adsorption, absorption and degradation function of microbial cells on odorous substances. With the characteristics of small individual cells, large specific surface area, strong adsorption and diverse metabolic types, microorganisms can convert odorous substances into non-toxic simple inorganic substances such as CO2, H2O, H2SO4 and HNO3.
Microbial deodorization process is divided into three steps: (1) odor contact with water and dissolve into water; (2) The odor component in the aqueous solution is adsorbed and absorbed by microorganisms, and the odor component is transferred from the water to the microorganism; (3) The foul-smelling components entering the microbial cells are decomposed and utilized by the microorganisms as nutrients, so that the pollutants can be removed.
Odor gas biological purification process is the use of biological bacteria to decompose and oxidize odor gas, so that odor gas decomposition into CO2 and H2O and other harmless odorless gas emissions. According to the nature of biological fillers and the structural form of treatment equipment, the biological filter purification device is generally divided into three categories: soil method (biological deodorization filter), biological composting method (deodorization filter) and biological deodorization drip filter.
Relatively speaking, biological trickling filter deodorization is a new biological deodorization technology developed in recent years. Its core principle is to inocinate or fix biological bacteria on the inert filler. After the exhaust gas enters the inert biological filler layer, a part of the gas enters the liquid phase, and a part of the gas enters the biofilm on the surface of the inert filler, and is captured, absorbed and decomposed by microorganisms.
